Last year was definitely packed for our Ethical Hackers. We had a record number of human hacking events, and we’ve surpassed 50 Ethical Hackers in our pool.

And with more hackers, you get more cosmic exploits. In other words, it was very hard to pick the winners for these awards!

But keeping up with tradition, we had to choose the winners. And so, these are the Ethiacker Awards of 2024!

Let’s begin the introductions:

The Code Breaker

Mamma mia! guilhermescombatti excelled this year! He found the highest number of High, Critical, and Cosmic vulnerabilities in human hacking events. That is, he prevented the worst from happening to the target organizations.

Shared between two members of the same CTF team, 4v1at0r and castilho took the prize home with 27 collabs each. Teamwork is dream work, as they say.

Cosmic Brain OG

Legend says their combined brainpower could power all the AI data centers in the world. While we can’t test if that’s true, we can definitely tell you they tested for really cosmic stuff. S3np41k1r1t0, 4v1at0r, castilho, and ghostpwner take the prize home for finding an absolutely cosmic vulnerability (AKA a full attack chain with different techniques and vulnerabilities being exploited)that could have caused massive damage in a highly critical infrastructure.
